The enabling service is designed to give people with a learning disability the opportunity to engage in an outside activity within the community, on a one to one basis, which would otherwise be unavailable without support from a community enabler,
Activities like swimming, a trip to the pictures or the Theatre, going out for a meal, shopping excursions, bowling, a drive out on the moors or even the ability to engage in a hobby that would otherwise be inaccessible.
