We are particularly looking for people who are able to give a few hours on Thursday, Friday or Saturday, however any offers of help will be gratefully received.
Citizen Advocacy/Advocacy – If you think you are able to support people with learning disabilities to have their voice heard and secure their rights then this is the role for you.
Social Clubs – If you like loud and busy the social clubs are an ideal place to volunteer. The Orbit Club runs from 10am – 2.30pm every Monday and Thursday from the Crownhill Family Centre, you will need to like karaoke! Our disco is open every Tuesday and Friday from 6.30pm – 8.45pm at our premises at Highbury, this is a very busy club with up to 150 people attending, if you like lively this is the one.
Community Support Service – Again situated at Highbury this service supports around 20 people per day to access community activities, we are looking for volunteers to support the staff team in enabling clients to participate in their chosen activities.
